Access information

It is our aim to provide access to high quality entertainment for everyone. There are a number of more easily accessible seats at every performance on the Main Stage and in the Mill Studio. Our staff are on hand to assist if required. These seats will be available to book from the date general bookings open until two weeks prior to the performance, subject to availability. If you require access then you will receive £5 off the price of your seat.

If you require a companion due to your access requirements, this seat will be offered free of charge.

Assistant dogs are welcome. Please advise the Box Office when booking so they can provide you with an appropriate seat.

If you have any queries regarding more specific access requirements, please contact the Box Office who will be happy to advise you.

Wheelchair access

In the Main House there is space for two wheelchairs in the auditorium. A wheelchair can be borrowed if required. An accessible WC is on the ground floor and there is a lift from the ground floor to the top floor. There is step free access to the café, the restaurant and via the lift to the Circle Bar and the Belvedere Room (part of the Vanbrugh Club). In the Mill Studio there is space for up to eight wheelchairs and offers step free access.

Hearing impairment

Both the Main House and Mill Studio have the Sennheiser infra red sound enhancement system. Headsets can be borrowed from the Ushers' desk. They can be used with aural or post-aural aids. Subject to availability.

Sign language interpretation

Where possible we arrange British Sign Language interpreted performances - details will appear on individual pages of our brochure and on individual show pages on this website.

An informal talking brochure of each season of events is available from the Box Office.
