The Hoarder
The Hoarder is inspired by the astonishing true story of chronic hoarder Richard Wallace, whose hoarding is so out of control that his own life is in danger.
Mountains of papers and packaging fill his home from floor to ceiling and trap Richard in a world of his own, away from his community and any human connection.
Sticks Theatre has devised this touching piece that tells the story of how, with a little understanding, friendship can make a world of difference.
The Hoarder not only deals with the condition of hoarding but also explores ideas of loneliness, materialism, tolerance and above all… how great things can be achieved when humans connect.
