Cinderella

Check out our Media Corner below for this year's reviews..

Following her triumphant return to London’s West End, Surrey-born singer, dancer, actress and entertainer Bonnie Langford will star as Fairy Snow, leading a truly fabulous cast in this year’s magical family pantomime, Cinderella.

Last year Bonnie toured the UK as The Lady of the Lake in Monty Python’s Spamalot, before playing the role of Roz in Dolly Parton’s stage adaptation of 9 to 5, The Musical.  Following rave reviews, Bonnie returned to the Spamalot cast in May to reprise her role and is currently enjoying its successful West End run at The Playhouse Theatre.

Bonnie is joined on stage by one of the country’s top performers; the inimitable Kit Hesketh-Harvey.  Kit has made many appearances in the West End and on the Yvonne Arnaud stage as one half of the hilarious comedy duo, Kit & The Widow.  Guaranteed to make you laugh, hiss and boo, Kit returns to Guildford in an altogether new guise this year, as an Ugly Sister.

Making a welcome return and ready to embrace a new wardrobe of outrageous frocks, Kit’s sister in crime is none other than Surrey and Hampshire’s favourite breakfast show host, Eagle Radio’s Peter Gordon.

Robert Maskell, who local audiences will have seen in the Guildford Shakespeare Company productions of Macbeth earlier this year and Richard III last year, joins the team as Baron Hardup.  Guildford School of Acting graduate and last year’s PC Pongo, Jamie Brook returns to captivate audiences as Cinderella’s best buddy, Buttons.

Tom Senior, currently playing Stamp in Billy at the Union Theatre, London is the dashing and debonair Prince, while Dirty Dancing star Will Breckin plays his right-hand man Dandini. A first year student on the Musical Theatre Diploma course at Guildford’s Performance Preparation Academy, Alice Baker stars in the title role of Cinderella.

Director Gerry Tebbutt and Choreographer Jill Francis return to cram this traditional family pantomime with fun, magic and spectacle in true Guildford Style.  Promising dazzling costumes and sequins aplenty, with costumes designed by Jamie Attle and lighting designed by John Harris.

This amazing team can’t wait to share this enchanting fairytale with you.  Don’t be a pumpkin, book your tickets today via the orange link and join us at what promises to be the Royal Ball of the Year!

Please note that Bonnie Langford will not be appearing in Cinderella on Sunday 5th and Sunday 12th January. Playing Fairy Snow on these days will be Deborah Bundy, who most recently appeared in Billy Elliot in the West End.
