“Courageous, cunning and very funny, when the author wants it to be. Utterly individual and haunting. I shall think and think about this play.” THE NEW STATESMAN
Aunt Dan & Lemon
Following the sell-out success of their production of Alan Bennett’s Talking Heads Triple C Theatre Company is back at the Mill Studio with Wallace Shawn’s Aunt Dan and Lemon.
This provocative play that opened at the Royal Court Theatre in 1985 has a new resonance in our current world view. It examines the seductive power of fascist thought, as Lemon, a young recluse, introduces us to a fascinating kaleidoscope of characters, political ideology, deception and murder as she remembers her childhood and her relationship with the eccentric Aunt Dan.
