Blue Remembered Hills
Presented by Apollo Theatre Company
Trees to climb, squirrels to chase, a whole forest to explore…
The Forest of Dean, 1943. A group of silly seven year-old children spend a summer’s afternoon playing in the woods and fields of Gloucestershire. But it’s not all fun and games when around every corner could be an escaped prisoner of war, a German parachutist, or an angry farmer!
Following the success of The Dumb Waiter, Apollo Theatre Company returns to the Mill Studio with a brand new production of Dennis Potter’s childhood tale, which continues to be one of his most enduringly popular works, both on stage and screen.
