Following last year’s success of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe the Yvonne Arnaud Youth Theatre returns with the musical of E.B. White’s ever-popular children’s classic story, Charlotte’s Web.

Fern, the farmer’s daughter rescues a piglet from her father’s axe and names him Wilbur. He soon makes friends with Fern and with all the other animals who live in the barn, including the splendid spelling spider, Charlotte.

Each time it looks like Wilbur’s time is up, Charlotte gets spinning and weaves her magic to save him. Wilbur becomes a celebrated pig and in the glare of publicity Charlotte must work harder than ever before to save him one last time.

E.B. White’s story of friendship and bravery won over many young hearts and is brought to energetic life by the talented actors of the Yvonne Arnaud Youth Theatre.
