Sasha Regan's all male company
The award-winning company behind the all-male productions of The Pirates of Penzance, Iolanthe & Patience presents Gilbert & Sullivan’s fourth collaboration and first blockbuster: H.M.S. Pinafore; or, The Lass That Loved a Sailor.
Inspired by a scrapbook of troops performing Gilbert & Sullivan during World War 2, the team take Gilbert & Sullivan below deck, where the troops set out a distraction from the goings on above board with a production of one of their most popular tales, HMS Pinafore.
With infectious tunes and a beautifully constructed libretto it deals with the age-old conundrum of love between social classes. Joyful, witty and fun for all the family!
