Much Ado About Nothing

A battle of wits, a case of mistaken identity, a secret love and a fair few meddling characters!

Leonato prepares to open his home to a group of friends who have served in the war. Among them is Claudio, who quickly falls in love with Leonato’s daughter, Hero. Claudio’s fellow comrade, Benedick, resumes his war of witty insults with Hero’s cousin, Beatrice. Their friends decide to take it upon themselves to arrange the match-making of both couples, with a few tricks and games along the way. Meanwhile, there are one or two troublemakers ready to disrupt everyone’s happiness…

Set in the context of post-WW2 Britain, Scene Change take on a new imagining of Shakespeare’s timeless comedy.
