The Secret Garden
“If you look the right way, you can see that the whole world is a garden.”
After the death of her parents, Mary Lennox is sent to England to live in Misselthwaite Manor, her uncle's great lonely house on the moors. Everybody says she is the most disagreeable-looking child ever seen. It is true, too. Mary is pale, spoilt and quite contrary. But she is also horribly lonely.
Then one day she hears about a garden in the grounds of the Manor that has been kept locked and hidden for years. And when a friendly robin helps Mary find the key, she discovers the most magical place anyone could imagine...
Interval has gained a reputation for performing and developing new writing as well as taking a fresh look at the classics. Recent successes have included Romeo and Juliet, Lord of the Flies, The Lark and last year’s sell out, The Firework Maker’s Daughter.
