An Evening with Lucy Worsley

Dr Lucy Worsley is an historian and Chief Curator of the Historic Royal Palaces, and has presented numerous television and radio shows.

This is your chance to hear Lucy discuss her brand new book and television programme, A Very British Murder, to be shown on the BBC this autumn. Murder is a subject that we British have maintained a long and bloody relationship with – often the more gruesome the better. But where did this fixation develop? And what does it tell us about ourselves? Lucy will present a riveting investigation into this phenomenon, examining not just the crimes but also how it has become a form of middle-class entertainment through novels, plays and the press.

Do join us for what promises to be a fascinating and thoroughly entertaining evening.
