Recording artist, actress, songwriter and author MICHELLE GAYLE will bring Sweetness to Surrey this Christmas starring as the Fairy Godmother in our magical family pantomime, Cinderella.

Michelle first rose to fame as Fiona Wilson in the BBC’s classic children’s TV series Grange Hill before becoming an Albert Square regular, playing Hattie Tavernier in EastEnders for five years.

A successful music career followed, with the talented R&B singer securing herself two top-40 UK solo albums – including the top-10 hit singles Sweetness and Do You Know – and three BRIT Award nominations.

Combining her love of music and acting, Michelle has since played Belle in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast in London’s West End and she is currently on a UK tour with the stage show Son of a Preacher Man.

Michelle is also known for her starring role as Imara in CBBC’s hit fantasy drama Wolfblood, which won Best British Children’s Television at the British Screenwriters Awards, and as a gifted writer, having published four novels for young adults.

In recent years fans have enjoyed seeing Michelle take on the Channel 4 reality show The Games, competing against other celebrities in a series of sports events, and as a panelist on ITV's topical chat show Loose Women and Channel 5’s The Wright Stuff.

And guess what – the boys are back!  Cabaret performer KIT HESKETH-HARVEY plays Dandini, there’s double-trouble as Eagle Radio’s PETER GORDON and his partner in Panto crime NICK BARCLAY play the Ugly Sisters.

Hold on to your brolly gang – Guildford’s favourite Brummie JAMIE BROOK makes a welcome return, water pistol in hand, as Cinderella’s best buddy, Buttons.

After an enchanting performance as Tommy the Cat last year, GEORGIE LEATHERLAND returns to Pantoland to star as Cinderella and prove that wishes really can come true.  Guildford School of Acting student CAMERON BURT will play the dashing Prince Charming.

With such a fabulous Fairy Godmother in charge of the panto proceedings, we’re pretty confident that luck is on Cinderella’s side and, in spite of the antics of her Ugly Sisters, she just might get to go to the ball – but what about you?  Will you join them on this fairytale adventure?  You’d be a pumpkin to miss out.

"Be prepared to cheer, laugh out loud, get wet during the Twelve Days of Christmas and join in Baby Shark with a show that is suitable for all the family with plenty of humour for children and grown-ups, who still want to be kids, alike" GUILDFORD DRAGON

5 STARS "If you fancy a traditional madcap raucous pantomime, head on over to the Yvonne Arnaud and enjoy Cinderella - it's simply brilliant family fun."
