A musical revue devised by Benny Green and Alan Strachan, Cole is bursting with songs from the King of Musicals, Cole Porter. Ingeniously put together, using most of Cole Porter’s hit tunes with a narration which tells the story of his life, from Yale to Paris to Manhattan to Broadway to Hollywood – and ultimately, back once again to Broadway.

This timeless entertainment is brim-full with more than 50 songs written by Cole Porter, including classics from the musicals, Anything Goes, Can-Can, Gay Divorce and Kiss Me Kate and songs such as I Love Paris, Take Me Back to Manhattan, Love for Sale, Night and Day and I Get a Kick Out of You.

A huge success when it was originally staged at London’s Mermaid Theatre, Cole subsequently had a successful run at Guildford’s Yvonne Arnaud Theatre in 1977. We are delighted to present this brand-new production back onto our stage!
