Back after a sell-out show last year!

Dr Phil's Rude Health Show

If you only see one doctor this year, make it Dr Phil....

Phil Hammond is a GP, writer, broadcaster and possibly the only comedian to have appeared at a public inquiry. He is Private Eye's medical correspondent and has appeared on Have I Got News for You, The News Quiz, The Now Show Countdown and The One Show.

He is rude about everything (politicians, doctors, death, drugs, sex), his Radio sitcom Polyoaks has just been re-commissioned for a third series on Radio 4, and his appearance on Question Time saw him lock horns with the Health Secretary.

On January 21st, Phil presents a national film for Inside Out on BBC 1 on 'what patients will notice new about the NHS reforms.'

Phil was recently nominated for the Martha Gellhorn prize for investigative journalism for his work uncovering the shocking treatment of NHS whistleblowers. His Private Eye special report, Shoot the Messenger, co-written with Andrew Bousfield, can be downloaded from his website
Phil still works in the NHS, with children and adolescents with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/ME.
