Best Play award-winner Shadowlands, is the beautiful and moving drama about life and loss, but ultimately, love.

This touching story hailed as one of the most extraordinary love stories of our time is based on fact and follows C.S. Lewis, the famous author of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, living as distinguished, academic bachelor in Oxford. Life is comfortable and certain.  But then the unexpected happens – he falls in love.

This tender and tragic tale promises to be both emotional and uplifting.

Following on from its original incarnation as a TV drama then subsequent stage adaptation and finally a film starring Anthony Hopkins, the play has gone on to win multiple awards as well as the film adaptation picking up multiple BAFTA and US awards.

The cast of ten is led by Stephen Boxer (Humans, The Iron Lady, Doctors) as C.S. Lewis, Amanda Ryan (The Forsyte Saga) and Denis Lill (Only Fools and Horses and The Royal).
