With Josephine Tewson
Still Keeping Up Appearances
Josephine Tewson is perhaps best known for her roles as Elizabeth in Keeping Up Appearances and as Miss Davenport in Last of the Summer Wine. In her early years she was a regular comedy performer in sketches featuring Ronnie Corbett and Ronnie Barker on Frost on Sunday and Hark at Barker.
Josephine played Edna Hawkins in the first six series of the British sitcom Shelley and in 1988 she played Jane Travers in the sitcom Clarence, which was written by Ronnie Barker and was his last starring television role before his retirement.
Still Keeping Up Appearances is a hugely fun and irreverent evening of chat and memories of a fifty-year career with one of Britain's most loved comedy actresses.
And there isn't a Royal Doulton tea cup with hand painted periwinkles in sight!
