Wilde Without the Boy
Spend an hour with a chastened – but still hilarious – Oscar Wilde in his prison cell. See into his astonishingly brilliant mind and beautiful, bruised soul.
Wilde Without the Boy is a dramatisation - by Olivier Award nominated actor Gerard Logan (last seen at the Mill Studio with The Rape of Lucrece) - of De Profundis, the bitterly passionate and at times, exquisitely beautiful letter Oscar Wilde wrote to his lover, Lord Alfred Douglas, from his cell in Reading gaol. Two years previously, Wilde had been imprisoned for gross indecency.
