Step into a world of heroes, monsters and magical quests in this action-packed five-day drama camp. Designed especially for 7–11 year olds, this creative workshop invites young performers to bring legendary tales to life.
Throughout the week, participants will explore drama skills through imaginative games, character creation and storytelling inspired by myths and legends from across the globe. Each day will focus on a different mythological world with daily activities including drama games, arts and crafts, prop-making, costume design, directing & devising scenes and working with scripted text.
- Monday: Ancient Greece
- Tuesday: Norse Mythology
- Wednesday: Irish Legends
- Thursday: The Native North American World
- Friday: Rehearsal & sharing
Whether your young person is a budding performer or simply loves stories, this drama camp is the perfect place to imagine boldly, make new friends and work collaboratively, get creative and have fun!
The week culminates in a lively sharing for families, giving participants the chance to showcase their work in front of a supportive audience of their parents and carers. The sharing will take place in the River Room at 3.30pm on Friday 31 July.
The drama camp can be booked for the whole week or for individual days.
