Front of House and Box Office Assistant

Salary - £12.55 per hour

Part Time - 15 Hours Per Week

Front of House and Box Office are the first point of contact for the public and visitors to the theatre. We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and responsible all-rounder to duty manage shows and/or sell tickets at box office on a part-time basis, according to a rota.

The successful candidate would act as duty manager for shows and events, taking responsibility for audiences and building safety during performances, and work in our Box Office, selling tickets, memberships and events, using our ticketing system, Spektrix, for the equivalent of 2 days per week.  

The shifts will be flexible between Front of House and Box Office, according to what’s required by the programme and department need.

Join our Catering Team

Café & Bars Supervisor

We are recruiting a Supervisor for the Riverbank Kitchen and bars. It's a permanent 30 hours per week role, covering daytimes, evenings and weekends, according to a rota.

You'll be part of a lively in-house catering team in our creative charity, leading on customer satisfaction and fantastic service for customers coming to a show or just stopping by for a coffee.

Catering at the Yvonne Arnaud comprises our Riverbank Kitchen, Stalls and Circle Bars, and Vanbrugh Room, as well as providing hospitality for private and corporate events. Over 130,000 customers will visit the theatre during a year, they may be attending a show, or grabbing a coffee while shopping, we aim to provide a variety of food and drink options during the day, pre-show and during the interval that will suit their needs, and keep them coming back.

The Supervisor works with the Catering Manager and Deputy Catering Manager to ensure our customers are looked after and our front of house operations work smoothly.

You will will be front of house during service, overseeing the  effective operation of the café and bars, liaising with the kitchen as required, and setting the standards for exemplary customer service.
